In case of chemical injury, it is recommended to wash the eye with the pH Neutral solution for two minutes and then wash with the 0.9% sodium chloride solution until we visit a specialist (e.g. an ophthalmologist). The pH Neutral eye wash consists of phosphates, which are present in the human body. Thus, with the immediate use of Plum's buffer solution, even the strongest chemicals can be neutralized, preventing serious injury and permanent vision loss.
